Case Studies of Debt and Credit Systems
〜The case studies of eight major companies, ranging from trading companies and retailers to manufacturers, are included in this collection.
Many companies have systematized thorough management of receivables and payables with their business partners. However, since the standard package functions do not handle receivables and payables due to the different conditions of each client and the company's business model, a built-in system is created or manual operations are performed for some tasks to cover the difference.
Most of the receivables and payables areas of large Japanese companies have been built using add-on and scratch systems, which continue to incur maintenance costs due to external factors.
In this document, we will introduce examples of operations and transactions handled with standard functions by eight major companies, ranging from trading companies to manufacturing companies. Please check for examples in industries similar to your own, or see if there are any examples of improvements made by companies that have experienced similar issues.
