The First Steps of University DX: Learning from Oberlin College

After the declining birthrate and the Corona disaster, DX is becoming increasingly important in university administration.
However, many university sites are facing challenges where reforms are not progressing as smoothly as expected due to old customs, organizational barriers, and a lack of human resources.

In this seminar, we will invite Oberlin Gakuen to disclose
their efforts to improve operational efficiency across a wide range of areas, including paperless initiatives, IT investments, and staff work style reforms that they have been promoting since 2017.
We will introduce how to move the organization involving various departments, the benefits of reforms, and the concept of IT investment at universities.
We will introduce the real way of proceeding and the results of university DX.

This presentation will be useful for anyone involved in university management, regardless of faculty, staff, or department, including those who are concerned about university IT investment and those who want to improve the efficiency of university operations.

In 2021, he joined Ariel Business Unit as Director of the Customer Support Department, overseeing Account Management, Support Center, and Technical for ArielAirOne Enterprise, and working to increase customer value.
