KPMG AZSA & Co.: Two Prescriptions for Using AI to Accelerate DX in Accounting

While interest in the use of AI and the promotion of DX in accounting departments is on the rise,
there are many cases where it remains unclear where to start and how to proceed.
In this seminar, KPMG AZSA & Co., which has been supporting the advancement of accounting and finance from an auditing and advisory perspective, and
Works Applications, which promotes business transformation through its AI-powered accounting system "HUE," will jointly present
"Two Prescriptions" for Successful AI Application " - "Project Design" and "System Utilization" - will be explained.

From KPMG AZSA & Co., Mr. Takenori Ikuta, Director of Advisory Supervisory Division, will speak on
as a consultant with extensive experience in supporting AI utilization in the accounting and finance area.
He will explain the project design and issues companies are likely to face when promoting accounting DX (AI utilization in generation).
Works Applications will then present a practical approach to utilizing AI at a concrete operational level and creating results in a short period of time.
Finally, the speakers will share their views on the theme of "Barriers and Future Prospects for AI Utilization in Accounting Departments" in a panel discussion.

Speaker Information

Takenori Ikuta

Director, Advisory Supervisory Division, KPMG AZSA LLC

Mr. Ikuta joined KPMG AZSA & Co. in 2007 and was engaged in system audits and internal control audits for major manufacturers, retailers, and financial institutions in the IT Audit Department. In 2012, he was appointed to his current position after the establishment of the Advisory Supervisory Division. He has been engaged in advisory services such as support for accounting business reform using generative AI, conceptualization support for accounting DX, core system restructuring support, and business management process development support.

Masaaki Fujiwara

Principal

He started his career as an accounting system development engineer. While planning and developing products, he participated in implementation and business improvement projects in a variety of industries and sizes. Currently, he participates in more than 200 business meetings per year, and is responsible for consulting on system selection and product introduction.
