Mr. Umehara has more than 20 years of experience in purchasing and organization management (CPO) in procurement and purchasing departments of domestic and foreign companies. Currently, as a principal director of a major consulting firm, he is involved in the purchasing reforms of many companies. He also serves as the representative of the "Purchasing Network Association," which has more than 2,000 participants from more than 400 companies nationwide, and contributes to the development of the Japanese purchasing industry by giving lectures and educational sessions related to purchasing at many companies.
