With the spread of digitalization and remote working, "cloud invoice sending/receiving services" have recently become indispensable tools for accounting departments regardless of the size of the company or type of industry. Compared to traditional paper-based invoice processing, it offers many advantages such as operational efficiency, cost reduction, and real-time information management. For this report, we conducted a survey of major Japanese companies and received a total of 100 sample responses from people in information systems, finance and accounting, and corporate planning departments. Our goal is to visualize the challenges faced by companies that have implemented cloud invoice sending/receiving services, and to identify points for future improvement. We hope that this report will be of some help to those in charge of finance, accounting, and information system departments who are considering cloud invoice services.
