R.S., who joined the company in mid-career in 2019 and is in charge of recruiting new graduates for the Human Resources Division, would like to hire people who can support Works Applications in its period of transformation while maintaining a management perspective.
She is active on the frontlines of human resources and recruiting, and she shares her thoughts on her job and her mission with us.

I recruit new graduates who will build the future of the company.

I belong to the Human Resources Department and am in charge of new graduate recruitment. We are in a period of change at Works Applications, and I am working on matching internships and other opportunities in order to recruit a new generation that will create the future while inheriting the company's DNA.
I myself just joined the company mid-career in 2019, and I find it very attractive that Works Applications has many talented people and an environment where I can grow as well. In the future, I would like to contribute to the organization and society by recruiting people who will build up the company as HR myself.

We value the management perspective. My mission is to provide growth opportunities for talented people.

What I try to keep in mind when working in human resources is to have a management perspective.
In working with "people," I often have to deal with problems for which there are no correct answers. In such cases, I try to grasp the essence of the problem rather than just looking at the surface, and make decisions based on my understanding of what we want to achieve as a company.
I believe that the mission of my job is not only to hire people, but also to provide opportunities for growth to the world's talented people through our recruiting activities. For those who join the company, of course, but even if they do not join the company, I hope that the internship and selection process at Works will be an opportunity for growth.
This is a value that has always been important to Works, which upholds the philosophy of "providing a place for critical workers to play an active role," and I myself was attracted to the company because of this value.

It is rewarding to be able to grow through the core job of human resources.

The most rewarding part of my job is that I can experience my own growth through the experience of creating companies and systems.
Both my previous job and Works Applications are companies with an abundance of venture spirit, so I am blessed with opportunities to create mechanisms rather than riding on the rails or systems that someone else has created. The job of human resources, in particular, is very rewarding because it is the core of the company.
At Works Applications, all employees are fully committed to their work, and even in human resources, we all work with the common desire to "make the company better. Because there is a corporate culture that takes in opinions regardless of their position or history in the company, it is easy for them to communicate and make proposals, and they are enthusiastic about recruiting human resources and creating a system that can create a new era at WORKS.

As a mid-career employee, I want to have an objective viewpoint and make the necessary changes.

In the future, I would like to improve my problem-solving skills, as I would like to become a person who can play an active role in any organization.
In the current organization, as a mid-career employee, I must have an objective viewpoint and lead the changes necessary for the Works. I would like to make essential proposals and work based on an awareness of what needs to be changed and what should not be changed.
The members around me and my superiors listen to my opinions in a flat manner, and basically, if I raise my hand, they will let me take on challenges. In other words, this is an environment where such challenges are expected, and I would like to live up to those expectations.
