H2O Retailing will centralize its accounting operations, including general accounting, credit and debt management, cash management, and forecasting, to create an accounting infrastructure that is resilient to change.

Background of Adoption: Renewal to a sustainable accounting infrastructure based on Fit to Standard.

　H2O Retailing, which operates department stores and supermarkets, had been facing a sustainability issue with its current financial accounting system due to its heavy reliance on add-on functions. Initially, based on the Fit to Standard policy, the company was considering system renewal, particularly in the area of credit management, which utilizes many add-on functions, but the company expanded the scope of consideration to overall accounting renewal, taking into account the connection with peripheral operations.
　In the selection process, HUE was chosen because of its ability to unify peripheral operations, its ability to meet a wide range of business requirements with standard functions, and its proven track record of adoption in the same industry.

Expected Effects: Centralization of operations to realize an accounting infrastructure that is resistant to change.

　This project will promote automation and de-personalization of routine tasks by centralizing accounting operations, including not only general accounting and credit/debt management, but also cash management and forecast management. In addition, we will standardize accounting operations across the entire group to create an environment in which we can engage in higher value-added operations. Through a phased rollout to approximately 40 group companies, we aim to realize a sustainable and change-resistant accounting infrastructure.
