The seventh installment of the series “Preparing for the Introduction of New Lease Accounting Standards in FY2027: How to Proceed with System Planning,” written by WAP employees for “ITmedia Enterprise,” has been published.
Part 7 focuses on “business process redesign”—an aspect that is often overlooked when preparing for the new lease accounting standards. Drawing on case studies of IFRS 16 compliance, it explains the challenges faced by companies that did not change their business processes and highlights the importance of establishing systems to ensure the continuous collection of contract information.
