2.6 Term of Contract

Standard Service

[For monthly contracts]
The contract period is from the date of commencement of use of the service as stipulated in the Terms of Service to the last day of the month in which such date of commencement of use falls. However, if the customer does not express his/her intention to terminate the contract by the method specified by us at least one month prior to the expiration of the contract period, the contract shall be renewed for one month under the same conditions, and the same shall apply thereafter.

[In the case of an annual subscription]
In the case where the Service Commencement Date is on the first day of a month as stipulated in the Terms of Service, the subscription period shall be for one year from the Service Commencement Date, and in the case where the Service Commencement Date is in the middle of a month, the subscription period shall be from the Service Commencement Date to the last day of the month containing the date one year after the Service Commencement Date. However, if the customer does not express his/her intention to terminate the contract by the method prescribed by us at least one month prior to the expiration of the contract period, the contract shall be renewed for one year under the same terms and conditions, and the same shall apply thereafter.

The initial subscription period shall be from the date of commencement of use of the optional service to the date of expiration of the current subscription period for the standard service. However, if the customer does not indicate his/her intention to terminate the contract by our prescribed method at least one month prior to the expiration of the contract period, the contract shall be renewed for one month under the same conditions, and the same shall apply thereafter. Notwithstanding the above, when the subscription for the standard service is terminated, the subscription for the optional service shall also be terminated at the same time.

[In the case of an annual subscription]
The initial subscription period shall be from the date of commencement of use of the Optional Service to the date of expiration of the current subscription period for the Standard Service. However, if the customer does not express his/her intention to terminate the contract by our prescribed method at least one month prior to the expiration of the contract period, the contract shall be renewed for one year under the same conditions, and the same shall apply thereafter. Notwithstanding the above, when the subscription agreement for the Standard Service is terminated, the agreement for the Optional Service shall be terminated at the same time.

2.7 Calculation Method and Payment Terms

  The usage fee for the current month is determined based on the total number of API requests actually sent by the customer at the end of each month (hereinafter referred to as "the number of API requests sent"). If the number of API requests sent exceeds the maximum number of API requests available per month (10,000 requests), the customer will be charged a monthly excess usage fee (10,000 yen per month (excluding tax)/per 10,000 requests) based on the excess number.

• When the start date of the optional service is on the first day of the contract period of the current standard service
  Even if the current standard service is the first contract period and the start date of the contract period is in the middle of the month, the usage fee for the optional service will not be reduced or refunded on a pro-rata basis, and the monthly fee for the month in which the start date of the optional service is in the middle of the month will be charged as the full monthly fee. The full amount of the monthly fee for the month in which the start date of the optional service falls shall be added to the annual fee.
• When the start date of the optional service is in the middle of the contract period of the current standard service

2.7.2 Payment Terms

• The payment date for the usage fee for the second and subsequent contract periods shall be the last day of the month prior to the month in which the contract period expires, and the usage fee for the next contract period shall be paid on the last day of the month in which the contract period expires (advance payment).

2.8 Terms of Provision
