(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereinafter "WAP") announced today that the Co-op Deli Consumers' Cooperative Union (Head Office: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; President: Shin Kumazaki; hereinafter "Co-op Deli Union") has selected WAP's cloud invoice sending and receiving (Head Office: Saitama, Japan; President: Shin Kumazaki; hereinafter referred to as "Co-op Deli Federation") has decided to implement WAP's HUE Digital Invoice (hereinafter referred to as "HUE DI"), a cloud invoice sending and receiving service. Co-op Deli Federation will use HUE DI to completely digitize the sending and receiving of approximately 1,500 invoices each month, thereby reducing man-hours in the accounting department and improving operational efficiency.

Background of adoption: Reduction of man-hours by digitizing the issuance process.

　The Co-op Deli Federation had been using paper-based invoice printing, enclosure, and mailing, which resulted in man-hours and mailing costs. Since the association had been using HUE Classic provided by WAP as its accounting system, it considered HUE DI from the same vendor. The society decided to implement HUE DI because of its ease of integration with the existing system and operability.

　As a result, the company was able to completely digitize the sending of approximately 1,500 invoices each month. A significant reduction in man-hours and operating costs for the entire accounting department is expected.

　The association is working to improve operational efficiency and make the accounting department paperless, and digitalization of invoicing operations is one of the most important measures. The smooth integration with HUE Classic (accounting system), which is used on a daily basis, was a deciding factor in our decision to adopt HUE DI, especially for the invoicing process. The system will utilize functions such as sending history, open status management, and resending invoices to reduce the man-hours of the accounting department personnel who are actually in charge of the operation. In the future, we expect that HUE Classic and HUE DI will be used together to further improve the efficiency of the entire accounting process.
