　(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereafter "WAP") announces that Kyokuyo Industry Corporation (Head Office: Suntou-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture; President: Satoshi Sugiyama; hereafter "Kyokuyo Industry") has started using WAP's purchasing management system "HUE Purchase". (Head Office: Sunto-gun, Shizuoka, Japan; President: Satoshi Sugiyama; hereinafter referred to as "Kyokuyo Industries") has launched WAP's purchasing management system, HUE Purchase. Kyokuyo Industries expects to save up to 180,000 sheets of paper per year and up to 70% of man-hours in purchasing operations by taking advantage of HUE Purchase's rich functions and comprehensive support from WAP and its partners.

Background of Adoption] Digitization of outdated operations and elimination of system maintenance issues.

　Kyokuyo Industry had been relying on paper and fax for most of its purchasing operations, which was generating more than 300 man-hours per month. The company was also concerned that the invoice system would further complicate its operations, and the lack of IT personnel was increasing the cost of maintaining the old system (AS400).
　To solve these issues, the company adopted HUE Purchase, which is highly flexible and can be introduced without major changes to existing operations. This has enabled the digitalization of purchasing operations, man-hour reductions, and efficient maintenance operations, including maintenance in the field divisions.

Expected Effects] Compliance with revised laws and a significant reduction in man-hours.

　With the operation of HUE Purchase, Kyokuyo Industries expects to reduce paper use by up to 180,000 sheets per year. In addition, an environment has been created in which purchasing operations, including compliance with the invoice system, can be completed within the system. This is expected to reduce man-hours by up to 70% by streamlining operations such as searching, inputting, approving, and analyzing purchasing information.

Kyokuyo Industries has established a seamless business environment with the cooperation of NI+C.

　This operation was made possible with the support of WAP's partner, Nippon Information & Communication Corporation (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Denji Sakurai, President & CEO; hereinafter "NI+C")*1. NI+C has been able to provide not only the delivery of HUE Purchase but also its own low-code tool, "Mendix NI+C supported the construction of a business environment that seamlessly integrates HUE Purchase and peripheral operations by utilizing its own low-code tool, Mendix, as well as HUE Purchase delivery.

Due to a lack of successors, Kyokuyo Kogyo 's IT department was faced with the issue of stable operation of the current system and concerns about its aging.
