Even when ERP implementation and renewal are promoted under the slogan of "Fit to Standard," there are many cases where add-ons and customizations are accumulated, and "unapproved systems" such as Excel and individual tools remain
unique to each site.
In order to bridge the gap between the desire to "standardize" and the reality, it is essential to clearly define the scope to be covered by ERP and the areas to be left out, and to have a
company-wide design policy.
In this seminar, Mr. Kensuke Asamizu of PwC Japan LLC, who has been observing ERP implementation for about 20 years from an auditing and advisory standpoint, will be invited to
unravel the concept of governance that future information systems should have.
Looking back on the lessons learned from the RPA implementation period several years ago, he will explain the design policy of the company-wide system and data infrastructure, including areas that have fallen away from ERP.
In the discussion session within the seminar, we will also discuss how to draw the boundaries of what is within the scope of ERP, which is important when promoting Fit to Standard, and
we will propose the concept of infrastructure construction with an eye on the era of AI and data utilization that the future of information services should be responsible for.
