Growth Engine of Accounting]
New Lease Accounting, Practical Schedule to "Get it done in time".

~How to spend "one more year" based on a case study - as told by an auditing firm.

2026/04/23 (Thu) 16:00 -

With only one year remaining until the new lease accounting standards become effective, many companies are beginning full-scale projects to comply with the new lease accounting standards.
On the other hand, many companies have voiced their concerns that they have not fully organized what to do and when to do it, and that they are worried about whether they have omitted anything.

In this seminar, PwC Japan LLC, which has provided advisory services for many projects to apply the new lease accounting, will be invited to
systematically organize a schedule to "make it in time" for the remaining one year before the application.
The presentation will provide an overview of the entire process from pre- and post-application preparation to operation, and will specifically explain "what needs to be done by when".
Based on the wealth of knowledge that only an auditing firm can provide, as well as actual examples of companies that we have already supported, we will also explain points that can easily be stumbled over, issues that are often overlooked, and blind spots in the response.
In addition, the perspectives to be considered in system selection and how to proceed will also be discussed to organize responses from both practical and systemic perspectives.

This 60-minute session will provide practical hints on how to grasp possible risks in advance and how to respond smoothly without omissions.
