How to Create Indirect Material Purchasing to Improve Corporate Profit

Mr. Umehara, Purchasing Network Association, explains!

2024/02/29 (Thu) 16:00~

With various factors such as geopolitical risk and compliance issues making it difficult to reduce direct material purchasing costs,
there is renewed interest in reducing indirect material costs, which account for 30-60% of corporate spending in the area of purchasing and procurement.

One of the reasons is that not only is there a lot of room for cost reduction, but also it is possible to promote corporate restructuring and, as a result, to expect an increase in corporate profits.

In this seminar video, we invite a representative of "Purchasing Network Association", the largest purchasing group in Japan with over 800 members,
to explain the impact of indirect material purchasing on corporate profits and the methods to promote reform, including examples of advanced companies.
In the latter half of the video, we will also introduce HUE Purchase, a solution and purchasing management system provided by Works Applications.

Recommended for

  • Those who want to optimize purchasing and procurement operations and reduce costs
  • Those in charge of purchasing departments
  • Those who are considering the introduction or replacement of a purchasing/procurement management system
