HUE Classic" real estate management system goes into full-scale operation on-schedule, using Works' unique implementation method to lead the project to success
Taiyo Life is a life insurance company with total assets of 7,084.8 billion yen (as of March 31, 2016), with its main products being protection-type products (death, medical, and nursing care protection products). It owns approximately 120 buildings for lease and is promoting the enhancement of investment income through real estate management. However, the real estate management system built more than 20 years ago did not centralize some of the information, making operations more personable and complicated, and making it time-consuming to respond to new types of contracts and to manage and analyze income/expense data. In order to solve these problems, the company adopted CRE, the only package for major companies that covers not only lease contracts but also all real estate management operations with standard functions.
Real Estate Management System Renewal Accomplished on Schedule
Taiyo Life Insurance achieved full-scale operation of its revamped real estate and asset management system within 18 months of the project's start in April 2014, according to the original schedule. First, the company was able to go live on schedule because it adopted WORKS' proprietary implementation method, SPEC. SPEC" is an implementation method that determines in advance everything from basic planning to business requirements, configuration definitions, and verification methods at the initial stage of implementation, and provides a standard business flow based on the wealth of business know-how accumulated in "HUE Classic". This method enabled us to finalize the requirements including the business image at an early stage and reduce rework at the time of implementation. Second, "HUE Classic" incorporates all the operations expected of a major company into its standard functions. This eliminated any add-on development and prevented schedule delays.
We had never had a system for large corporations before, and we thought that an add-on to our real estate management system was a must.
With the help of Works, we were able to start operations as planned without any major rework and without any add-ons, and I am very happy about that.
I would be happy to have their continued support to further improve Taiyo Life's operations.

Supporting not only property management, but also planned capital investment to increase the value of real estate
In the process of restructuring the workflow, Taiyo Life was able to systemize operations that had previously been performed manually, thereby eliminating the need for human resources and enabling more efficient business operations. In addition, the centralization of real estate property and contract information has eliminated the need for manual data correction to ensure consistency and eliminate errors in data managed by each department, thereby improving the reliability of managed data and reducing the number of complicated tasks.
Taiyo Life will continue its efforts to improve real estate profitability through HUE Classic, and to make permanent operational improvements. Works will continue to support Taiyo Life in maximizing revenue in its real estate business from a system infrastructure.
