JTEKT began considering system replacement due to the aging of its existing system and the introduction of IFRS, and selected "HUE Classic" based on the following two main evaluation points.

1. Functions already implemented in IFRS compliance and promised to be implemented as standard functions for future undetermined developments.
2. The development concept of "no customization" and "free of charge version upgrade" will enable us to break away from the unpredictable increase in costs and complexity of business and operations caused by repeated customization and modification of the existing system, which had been a major issue with the existing system.

The company, which has 44 domestic and 114 overseas affiliates, has been developing its systems and operations with the aim of strengthening governance not only domestically but also on a global scale. As a first step, HUE Classic was launched simultaneously at three locations (Chubu, Osaka, and Tokyo) for 17 companies, including the head office and consolidated companies, in order to realize centralized management of accounting operations in Japan. In the current fiscal year, we plan to gradually expand the platform to our domestic affiliates and integrate the domestic accounting platform into "HUE Classic". With the introduction of "HUE Classic", JTEKT will not only visualize accounting and financial information for the entire group, but also promote the unification of account items and the development of code systems, thereby strengthening the governance of the entire JTEKT Group on a global scale.
