Personal Information Protection Policy
Works Applications, Inc. and its group companies (hereinafter referred to as "the Group") have a social responsibility to properly manage and protect personal information more than ordinary companies due to the nature of our business, which is to provide extensive support for our customers' mission-critical operations. The directors and employees of the Group declare that they will comply with and maintain the personal information protection policy set forth below.
- In all of its business activities, TOYO shall comply with all relevant laws, regulations, national and local guidelines, and other guidelines regarding the handling of personal information. Furthermore, we have established a personal information protection management system in accordance with the Japanese Industrial Standard "Personal Information Protection Management System - Requirements" (JIS Q 15001) to protect personal information.
- TOYO shall collect personal information in an appropriate manner by specifying the purpose of use, publicly announcing or notifying the purpose of use, and clearly indicating the purpose of use when necessary. TOYO shall not use personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use (use for purposes other than the stated purpose), except as permitted under the Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws and regulations. In addition, TOYO shall take appropriate control measures to ensure that personal information is not used for any other purposes.
- TOYO shall not provide personal information obtained by TOYO to any third party, unless TOYO has obtained the consent of the person concerned or is required by law.
- When TOYO receives a complaint or consultation regarding the handling of personal information, TOYO shall promptly investigate the facts of the matter and respond to it in good faith.
- In order to appropriately manage personal information obtained, TOYO shall take organizational, personnel, physical, and technical safety measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, and shall take corrective actions.
- The Group will continuously review its personal information protection management system in light of changes in social conditions and the environment, and improve its efforts to protect personal information.
