Earth Pharmaceuticals adopts "HUE" to realize sustainable financial and accounting infrastructure by optimizing business processes

May 14, 2026

(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Osamu Hata; hereinafter "WAP") announced today that Earth Pharmaceutical Co. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Katsunobu Kawabata, President and CEO; hereinafter referred to as "Earth Pharmaceutical") has adopted WAP's cloud ERP "HUE" for major companies in the areas of financial and management accounting and receivables and payables. Earth Pharmaceutical aims to optimize its business processes, improve operational efficiency, and establish a sustainable accounting infrastructure by adopting HUE.

Background of Adoption】 Improving efficiency by reviewing business processes

Earth Pharma was considering a system renewal when the maintenance deadline for its foreign ERP expired. The existing operation was not fully compatible with Japanese business practices, including in the area of receivables and payables, and complicated business processing was occurring outside the system. As a result, the work environment was prone to high workloads and human resources.
In light of these issues, the company decided to adopt HUE because of its ability to be flexibly configured according to business needs and its ability to optimize business processes.

Expected Effects] Reduction of workload and reduction of human resources

With the introduction of "HUE," Earth Pharma reduced the amount of work processing outside of the system and promoted the utilization of centralized data. This will reduce the workload and reduce the amount of human resources required, thereby strengthening the company's ability to respond to organizational needs. In addition, by linking with "HUE Asset," which has already been introduced, we will create an environment in which highly accurate data can be grasped in real time, which will also lead to the leveling off of financial closing operations.

<Comments from Takahiro Horihata, General Manager, Finance Management Department, Administration Division, Earth Pharmaceutical Co.

The review of our business processes, which was triggered by the renewal of the system, is an important initiative for our further growth. We decided to use HUE because of its flexibility in configuration and operation according to our business needs. Through the introduction of HUE, we hope to reduce the workload and improve the sophistication of data utilization, which have been issues up to now, and link this to sustainable organizational management and the leveling off of financial closing operations.
