HUE offers AI functionality for reviewing accounting and finance applications
"Scoring" makes the basis for decision-making visible and makes operations more audit-proof

2026/02/05

(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereafter "WAP") has launched an "AI Application Review" function that utilizes generative AI in its "HUE AC" series, a cloud ERP for major corporations. This functionality allows the AI to check for deficiencies and check points in expense reimbursement and invoice payment applications, etc., and visualize the basis for judgment through scoring based on regulations. Background of development

Background of Development] Application checks that have not been practical with conventional AI.

Many companies are still relying on human judgment to perform qualitative checks of applications. In recent years, AI has been used to check applications, but in many cases, the inability to provide sufficient evidence of judgment is a barrier for major companies, making it unfeasible to use in actual operations. We have been working on the development of an AI function based on actual operation at major companies.

Features] Scoring type AI review that visualizes the basis for judgment.

AI Application Review" is a function that visualizes the need for confirmation and points to be noted by having AI read the application contents and attached materials and score the application based on regulations. The AI's judgment is designed not to be a black box by presenting the basis for judgment, such as "Why is caution required for this application" and "In light of which regulations is confirmation required? This enables the system to respond to business requirements based on audits and internal controls.

The following is an example of how AI assists in checking application contents.

Example of application content Example of scoring and proposal by HUE

The purpose is "project progress meeting," but
it is nighttime and the name of the restaurant in the receipt is a pub

30 points (inconsistent content)
Suggested "Consider transferring to benefit or entertainment expenses"

A canned phrase such as "meeting

50 points (Insufficient content)
Suggested specific improvement ideas such as "visit to company 00 to propose new products

The particles and conjunctions are wrong
and do not make sense

70 points (careless mistake)
Presented suggestions for improvement of particles and conjunctions

Future Prospects] "AI Approver Function" to be provided in July 2026

HUE is in the process of expanding AI functions and plans to release an "AI Approver Function" in July 2026. This function sets AI as "another approver" and automatically makes approval decisions and offers comments based on scoring results. HUE will continue to promote advanced business automation using AI based on the controls and approval processes required by major companies.
