Mizuno adopts HUE for its expense and billing system
Promoting business efficiency and DX by digitizing 170,000 vouchers per year

2026/01/27

(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereinafter "WAP") announced today that Mizuno Corp. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Akito Mizuno; hereinafter "Mizuno") has adopted WAP's expense reimbursement system "HUE Expense" and cloud invoice sending and receiving service "HUE HUE Digital Invoice", WAP's expense reimbursement system and cloud invoice sending and receiving service. With the maintenance deadline of the foreign groupware approaching, the company will digitize approximately 170,000 vouchers per year to promote operational efficiency and DX.

Background of Adoption] From built-in to standard functions, reviewing the operational load.

Mizuno, a general sporting goods manufacturer, has built and operated in-house application operations based on foreign groupware. While flexible design was possible, system complexity, increased maintenance load, and the need to assign people to specific tasks had become issues. As the maintenance deadline for the underlying groupware was approaching, the introduction of a packaged product was considered for expense reimbursement and invoice receipt operations, which were particularly burdensome in the application process.
HUE was highly evaluated for its ability to handle complex applications and internal regulations that had been handled by previous systems, while maintaining standard functions. In addition, the ability to automate tasks that had been difficult to systemize with AI-OCR and the smooth integration with the existing accounting ERP were also decisive factors in the decision to implement the system.

Expected Effects: Digitization of 170,000 vouchers and improvement of operational efficiency

Mizuno will use AI-OCR to read approximately 120,000 receipts and 50,000 invoices per year to automate the application process, reducing the burden on applicants, approvers, and the accounting and finance departments by linking with IC cards and corporate cards, automatically completing entries, and detecting fraud.
HUE is provided with all standard functions and does not require any customization, thus preventing the creation of a workforce and allowing for flexible response to changes in personnel.

<Mr. Sugawara, Manager, Credit Management Section, Accounting and Finance Department, Mizuno Corp.
HUE has the flexibility to reproduce such operations with its standard functions, and the automatic processing of vouchers using AI-OCR was also a big attraction. HUE's flexibility to reproduce such operations with standard features and automatic processing of vouchers with AI-OCR were also very attractive. We expect HUE to make a significant contribution to both efficiency and continuity of operations in the future.
