(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereinafter "WAP") held a summer internship program in August 2025. This program is a 6-day internship in which participants are selected to take on business challenges using their logical thinking skills, based on the concept that "the experience here will make job hunting "boring". This is a proven problem-solving program in which more than 350,000 people have participated over the past 20 years. This year, 75 participants were selected from approximately 1,700 applicants from all over Japan.

A practical program that tackles real business problems

　 For more than 20 years, WAP has been offering internship programs that hone "problem-solving skills," rather than simply providing work experience. As Japan's first ERP vendor, we seek to discover in our students the ability to tackle society's toughest challenges and support their essential growth.

　In this year's internship program, participants faced real business issues as DX planners, and derived solutions to them. The program is a practical one in which participants discover issues that have no right answers, formulate hypotheses, verify them, and make proposals, all on their own. Through this process, we aimed to cultivate in just six days the "essential thinking," "strategy-building," and "proposal" skills that are finally acquired in the third year or later in the workforce.

　After the internship, we received comments such as, "The concept of 'thinking' has changed," and "I could tell that the interns wanted to grow in a real sense, not just as a work experience. The top students were selected as one of the finalists.

A system that rewards hard work. A "joining pass" and high annual salary are offered to the best applicants.

　 Those with outstanding results were given the opportunity to skip the first and second rounds of interviews and proceed to the final interview. In addition, depending on the results of the final interview, they would be granted an "Entry Pass" that would allow them to join the company at any time during the next three years. If you pass, you will be assured of an annual salary of 5 million yen or more, and in some cases we offer up to 6 million yen. In addition to preferential selection and rewards, the interns will gain the ability and confidence to expand their career options.
