Classic series ("HUE Classic"), WAP's ERP package software, and will migrate to the HUE AC series ("HUE"), including the expense reimbursement and management system. In addition, HUE Digital Invoice, a cloud invoice sending/receiving service that is linked to HUE, will also be introduced to achieve centralized management of accounting and invoicing operations.

Background of Adoption】HUE centralizes the dispersed systems and improves the business efficiency of the entire group.

　The Sotetsu Group, with Sotetsu HD as its holding company, is a corporate group that develops business activities in the transportation, distribution, real estate, hotel, and other fields. Although HUE Classic had been used for many years in the core area of accounting, the expense reimbursement system differed among the group companies, making management cumbersome. The invoice management system was also using a separate system that was not linked to HUE Classic, resulting in inefficient operation due to the double management of data and the need to switch between the two screens each time when checking invoices.
　By upgrading from HUE Classic to HUE, the company was able to integrate expense reimbursement and invoicing into a single package while maintaining the fixed asset management functionality, including the subitem system and material management, which are unique to the transportation industry. HUE was highly evaluated for its ability to achieve seamless data linkage while keeping licensing and implementation costs low.

Expected Effects: Optimization of accounting and billing operations through seamless data integration

　Upgrading to HUE provides the latest UI/UX for improved convenience. Future changes in laws, such as the new lease accounting, can also be accommodated through free version upgrades in the future, which will help reduce future operating costs.
　Furthermore, the introduction of HUE Digital Invoice will facilitate data linkage between accounting and invoicing operations and improve overall operational efficiency. The system is also compatible with Peppol, an international electronic transaction communication standard, and if it becomes more widely used, it is expected to automate operations from invoicing to payment and payment cancellation.

Sotetsu Business Service has been using HUE Classic as its core system for many years as a shared service company of Sotetsu Holdings, Inc. However, with different systems in place for different operations and group companies, improving the efficiency of management and operation was an issue. With this upgrade and new implementation, we are able to integrate the front office area, including invoicing and expense reimbursement, as well as the accounting area, to improve operational efficiency and achieve centralized management.
　The introduction of HUE Digital Invoice will promote paperless invoice receipt operations while reducing the burden on business partners and accelerate digitization through the use of AI-OCR and Peppol in the future. We also expect that centralizing the data in HUE will enable efficient and consistent data collection and reference, and will lay the foundation for future data utilization.
