Human Capital Report "Clip" 2024 Edition" is published
Promoting the use of human resources data in conjunction with management strategy

(WAP), headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, today announced the release of its "Human Capital Report 'Clip' 2024," which focuses on investments in human capital. This report introduces WAP's efforts to align its management strategy with its human resource strategy, the key indicators it uses to make management decisions, and the systems and measures based on its corporate philosophy.

Aiming for the Future through Alignment of Management and Human Resources Strategies
In December 2024, WAP formulated a new corporate brand and corporate philosophy*1, aiming to become a "growth engine" that maximizes corporate and individual value. Our goal is to free everyone from routine work and create a field where everyone can maximize their abilities and skills.
To achieve this, it is essential to have "critical workers*2" who are capable of "essential problem solving," and WAP's basic concept of human resource strategy is to create an environment in which these people can maximize their abilities, and to ensure a strong link with management strategy. For example, management and the HR department meet weekly to ensure that personnel are assigned promptly and appropriately according to business conditions based on HR data.

*2: "Critical Worker" is the type of personnel WAP seeks for "essential problem solving". The name "Clip" is a cross between "critical worker" and "bringing together (concepts, measures, and results).
Accelerating Recruitment Activities through Transparent Information Disclosure
Although WAP is an unlisted company, we are publishing this report in order to transparently demonstrate our human capital management efforts, in spite of the fact that disclosure of basic human capital information has been mandatory for listed companies since the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023.
By communicating a corporate culture that draws out individual strengths, including a work style unrestricted by time or place, the number of mid-career job applicants tripled year on year after the release of the 2023 report. We will continue to strengthen our recruitment activities and further create an environment in which diverse human resources can play an active role.
WAP will continue to focus on human capital management and transparently communicate our thoughts, strategies, and indicators regarding "people.
