　(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereafter "WAP") announced today that the Tokyo University of Technology, Nihon Kogakuin College of Technology, Nihon Kogakuin Hachioji College of Technology, and the corporate headquarters of the school, operated by Katayanagi Gakuen Educational Corporation (Head Office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President: Shigeru Chiba; hereafter "Katayanagi Gakuen"), will use the HUE system provided by WAP. (hereafter referred to as "Katayanagi Gakuen") have started using WAP's ERP package software "HUE Series" (hereafter referred to as "HUE"). Katayanagi Gakuen is aiming for a paperless office environment for the entire school by utilizing HUE's rich functions and integration with external systems.

Background of Adoption: Reforming the Industry's Unique Paper Culture

　School corporations are not likely to go paperless, as many of their procedures, such as invoices and expense applications, are paper-based.
　At Katayanagi Gakuen, too, expenditure management and approval processes were paper-based, but as reforms in the way of working proceeded, it was necessary to review the paper-based flow. Therefore, we considered the introduction of a new accounting system and adopted HUE.
　HUE offers a wealth of functions to support business digitization, such as workflow and electronic bookkeeping, and can significantly reduce the use of paper. This is expected to make the entire school more efficient and paperless, and Katayanagi Gakuen has begun operating HUE at the following four educational institutions.

About HUE

　HUE is a domestically produced ERP developed for major Japanese companies. It has a 97%* fit rate to RFPs with more than 6,700 standard functions. The system also has enhanced functionality for integration with external systems, for example, allowing users to access the purchasing site from a purchasing management system without requiring authentication.

The 97%* fit rate is based on our own standards.
