(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereinafter "WAP") announced today that HIS Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Motofumi Yada; hereinafter "HIS") will begin company-wide use of WAP's workflow system, HUE Workflow, from April 2024. HIS has been using the HUE series for its accounting system for some time and started using HUE Workflow in November 2023 with 200 employees belonging to a specific administrative department. We have increased the number of licenses and deployed it company-wide at this time due to its high functionality and operability in linking with other systems and managing access restrictions. The purpose of this project is to consolidate multiple workflows and paperless application forms, as well as to reform business processes and improve the efficiency of internal settlement processes by converting application information into data and sharing it within the company.

Consolidation of existing workflows scattered throughout the company is an urgent task.

As part of the DXing of administrative tasks, HIS has been required to (1) consolidate multiple workflows that exist in different systems, (2) make paperless applications that are circulated on paper, (3) create a database of application information that is dispersed and stored within the company, and (4) build a system infrastructure that can be shared within the company. HUE Workflow solved these issues, and was highly evaluated for its ability to automatically update personnel and organizational data from the HR system, its ability to distribute system management to each department rather than having the entire information department manage it, its detailed access restrictions including approval flow, and its high operability, leading to a company-wide deployment of approximately 4,000 employees. The system has been deployed company-wide to approximately 4,000 employees.

Mr. Yoshida, Senior Project Manager, Digital Strategy Promotion Department, DX Promotion Division, HIS Headquarters, comments

In promoting the DX-ization of administrative operations, we started with 200 employees in certain administrative departments on a trial basis, but the HUE Workflow not only made the application process paperless, but also enabled centralized management of information on applications that had been stored in a dispersed manner as a common database for the entire company, An environment has been created in which the contents of applications nationwide can be collected and compiled on-demand and in real time. Unlike in the past, information can now be shared automatically with business-related departments, eliminating the need for notification work, and enabling the person in charge to collect company-wide application information by himself/herself in a short time, with little effort, and in real time, thus significantly reducing work.

As one of the tools to improve business processes and increase the efficiency of information management operations, we intend to improve application operations, enhance UX/EX, and further promote DX in the future by deploying HUE Workflow, which enables high functionality and low-cost operation, throughout the entire company.

It is also possible to create reports for real-time analysis based on approval data and to automatically link with various external systems. HUE Workflow is a workflow system that pursues "ease of use" from the user's perspective. With its advanced design and visual screen, anyone can use the system without hesitation, even without a manual. Paper applications can be easily converted to electronic form, achieving a paperless workflow. Reports can be created for real-time analysis based on approval data, and automatic integration with various external systems is also possible.

In addition, administrators in each department can be granted management authority for applications. Since everything from setup and operation to analysis can be managed on a departmental basis, there is no need for a single department, such as the information system department, to manage the entire company's setup. The latest organizational information can be retrieved from the human resource system, approval notifications can be sent to chat tools, and even seals can be affixed in a single step by linking with an electronic contract system, thereby improving overall operational efficiency beyond application and approval.
