ChatGPT makes "HUE Chatbot" even more useful
Automatically generates FAQs, expanding the range of answers at once
2023/08/17
(HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereafter "WAP") will release in September 2011 a function to automatically create FAQs by linking with ChatGPT. At the same time, it will be able to answer questions that are not included in the broader FAQ.
1. Automatic FAQ generation reduces the maintenance load and can be used with "HUE" as well.
By using ChatGPT, it is possible to create natural text FAQs from files of related documents such as manuals and company rules, greatly reducing the burden of FAQ creation and maintenance that operators have been responsible for up to now. Specifically, HUE chatbot has a "Document Search Option" function that allows users to directly upload documents and directly provide answers from them, and ChatGPT will enable automatic creation of even more accurate FAQs.
HUE chatbot can be seamlessly integrated with HUE, an ERP provided by WAP. By utilizing it for inquiries such as expense reimbursement, HUE chatbot will also contribute to reducing the cost of responding to inquiries from companies that have implemented HUE. Since it is also linked to the "ArielAirOne" groupware, more than 2,200 WAP client companies (320 corporate groups) will be able to consider and implement its use seamlessly.
2. "Ask ChatGPT" function to answer questions not included in the FAQ
HUE chatbot is characterized by its flexibility to respond to terminology specific to each industry and company. However, questions outside of the registered FAQs are answered with "We are sorry we cannot help you," requiring the person asking the question to contact the administrator separately. With the newly added feature, ChatGPT, a large-scale language model (LLM), will generate the best answer from a vast amount of information, even for general questions that are not included in the FAQ. The range of possible responses is greatly expanded, further increasing the satisfaction of the inquirer.
The chatbot administrator and the questioner will be able to enable or disable this feature. The user can switch between asking ChatGPT when asking a question, depending on the purpose and content of the question.
3. Provided as an AI service that any company or corporation can use safely and securely in their business operations
This service utilizes the Azure OpenAI Service provided by Microsoft. This service is based on the "Principles of Responsible AI" of Microsoft, which continues to provide its services globally, and is provided on the premise that the service is fair, transparent, and meets privacy and security requirements. In addition, the service provides high availability (the ability to maintain the system) by utilizing cloud services provided by Microsoft Corporation. This service is also reliable for companies that are using generative AI services for the first time.
What is HUE Chatbot?
HUE chatbot is an AI-type chatbot that responds to "fluctuations" in Japanese by applying NLP (natural language processing) technology. It enables highly accurate dialogue as if it were talking to a human being. The usage status and points for improvement are visualized on a dashboard, allowing anyone to perform PDCA cycles with intuitive operation.
Feature 1: Supports technical terms Can be used in a wide range of industries
In the case of general chatbots, the number of words in the built-in dictionary is limited, and it is said that it is difficult to recognize unique words such as industry terms and technical terms. However, HUE chatbots can be used in a variety of industries and fields because even those with no programming knowledge can register unique dictionaries at any time and as many times as they wish from the administration screen.
Feature #2: Largest registered vocabulary in Japan, supports ambiguous questions
It is equipped with a natural language processing dictionary "SudachiDict" which has the largest registered vocabulary in Japan, 2.9 million words (as of January, 2023). It was developed by the Works Tokushima NLP Laboratory, which specializes in natural language processing (NLP) technology essential for AI-type chatbots, eliminating the need for users to register a large dictionary and reducing the number of FAQs to be prepared. The system also accurately determines the unique Japanese language and can respond to ambiguous questions.
Feature 3: Document search option added, eliminating the need to prepare FAQs
Upload files such as company rules and various manuals, and the AI can respond by referring to the uploaded files.
