(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereinafter referred to as "WAP"), has implemented HUE (hereinafter referred to as "HUE") and HUE Works Suite DX Solutions EBM (hereinafter referred to as "HUE EBM"), an ERP package for major companies, and Odakyu Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Odakyu") and Odakyu Electric Railway Co. ("Odakyu") and other Odakyu Group companies will accelerate the digitization of their accounting operations. Odakyu will use the relocation of its head office, scheduled for completion in August of this year, as an opportunity to move to a paperless accounting system, which will fundamentally improve the versatility and flexibility of its accounting operations, and expand the benefits of the system group-wide by involving other group companies that have already implemented HUE.

1. WAP products were selected to standardize group accounting operations.

Odakyu operates a group of companies with various characteristics, including the transportation business centering on railroads and buses, as well as the real estate, distribution, and hotel businesses, and handles a wide range of information for group business management. The company has set the standardization of group accounting operations as an issue to improve transparency and speed in collecting accounting information in order to further enhance the efficiency of group business management. The product has been introduced to 26 of the Group's companies. The product was highly evaluated for its ability to respond to changes in laws, regulations, and system revisions with free version upgrades, and its flexibility to respond to changes in the requirements and business practices of each industry with no customization as a standard function.

The adoption of HUE dramatically improved the functionality of the Shared Service Center, which is responsible for the collection and management of group accounting information, thereby promoting further efficiency in group business management.

2. Expansion of HUE functions to accelerate the digitalization of group accounting operations

By August of this year, Odakyu will relocate its head office functions from Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo to Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture and another building in Shinjuku-ku (operations already started at the Ebina head office in February). This move required a physical separation of the head office functions and a change in accounting operations to accommodate various work options, such as telework and flexible work hours. In November 2010, the company introduced HUE EBM, which scans paper documents such as receipts, converts them into electronic data, and centrally manages them. In conjunction with the relocation of the company's headquarters, HUE EBM will also be deployed to group companies that have already introduced HUE to gradually promote a group-wide paperless system.

With the introduction of HUE and HUE EBM, Odakyu has reduced the number of slips, receipts, and other paper documents by approximately 30,000 per year on a non-consolidated basis. In addition, companies that have already begun using HUE EBM have reduced the direct delivery of paper from their accounting processes, enabling business operations that are compatible with diverse work styles such as teleworking, and eliminating the burden previously placed on paper collection and storage.
