(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereafter "WAP"), a provider of "multibook," a cloud ERP service that supports business management for companies with overseas offices, has entered into a partnership with multibook, Inc. (CEO: Manabu Watanabe, hereafter referred to as "Multibook"), a provider of cloud ERP service "multibook" that supports business management for companies with overseas offices. With this collaboration, we have established a system to provide consistent support for business management and accounting operations of Japanese companies that are expanding globally, from their headquarters in Japan to their overseas offices.

1. Background of the collaboration

Some major companies with overseas offices face a variety of challenges, including uncertainty about the details of local business processing and inconsistencies between ledgers due to information input outside of the system and double entry.

Therefore, WAP, with its strength in business management for major Japanese companies, and Multibook, with its strength in business management for overseas offices, have decided to cooperate to solve these problems by leveraging the strengths of both companies. The two companies will work together to promote the efficiency and sophistication of overseas subsidiary management at major companies and play a role in promoting DX at Japanese companies.

2. Supporting the resolution of human resource shortages

By offering products from both companies and launching new initiatives such as indirect sales, the two companies will be able to propose a wide range of solutions that will help customers solve their issues and improve the efficiency of business management and accounting operations at their overseas locations.

In addition, Multibook will offer its BPO service "multibook overseas cloud accounting department" to WAP's client companies, which will take over overseas accounting operations on their behalf. This will help solve the problem of accounting personnel shortages and improve the efficiency of accounting operations at overseas subsidiaries.
