HUE Digital Invoice" service launched:
Integrated management of invoice receipt and issuance:
Easy to understand with dedicated UI/UX
2023/03/17
(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata; hereafter referred to as "WAP") has enhanced the sending function of the "HUE Digital Invoice" cloud invoice sending/receiving service, which has been available since January 2011, with the version released on March 22, 2011. The new version, released on March 22, will enable a wide range of invoice-related operations to be covered.
This service is intuitive to use with its particular design, and can easily handle qualified invoices as well as invoicing using the invoice format used in the past. In addition, we will also expand the functionality for linking with existing accounting systems and other systems.
In the future, we plan to support digital invoices (standardized and structured electronic invoices) based on the Peppol international standard. We will not only issue and receive invoices, but also link with other systems before and after the invoicing process to provide a consistent service that will realize the digitization of invoicing operations.
1. Easy total support from invoice creation to delivery and management
HUE Digital Invoice" can automatically issue multiple invoices in PDF format at once by simply importing CSV files containing the items required for invoicing. Since the invoice format can be used as is, suppliers receiving the invoices can proceed as before. In addition, since the system supports the items required for a qualified invoice (invoice), it is also compatible with the invoice system that will be introduced in October 2011.

UI/UX with end-users in mind
HUE Digital Invoice is designed to be more user-friendly for end-users than conventional business systems. Invoices sent by mail, PDF attachments, electronic transmission, and other various methods can be received on a screen designed so that both field and accounting departments can immediately understand how to use the system. The system contributes to the digitization of business-to-business transactions in Japan, not only for large companies but also for small, medium, and start-up companies.

3. Integrated service from Peppol network connection to invoice issuance and receipt
In Japan, the public and private sectors are working together to develop and promote digital invoice standard specifications based on Peppol, an international standard. On the private sector side, the Digital Invoice Promotion Council plays a central role, and a subsidiary of WAP was appointed as the secretariat of the Council as of September 1, 2010, and plans to support Peppol for "HUE Digital Invoice" in the future.
The digital invoice is sent and received on the Peppol network, and the network is communicated through access points provided by Peppol service providers. WAP plans to apply for accreditation of Peppol service providers in the future in order to achieve high service quality and low cost through consistent service delivery.
