(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Osamu Hata) held the annual meeting of the User Committee (UC), a user group composed of Work Applications Group (WAP) user companies, online on September 28, 2012. The meeting was held online on September 28.

This year's meeting, the 26th, featured a speech by Nankai System Solutions, Inc. on behalf of the UC Executive Committee, a presentation by Meiji Corporation, which upgraded its accounting system to the "HUE AC Series" in April, and a presentation by the Group Wear Warehouse Management Company, which is a member of the UC. Ltd. who upgraded their accounting system to "HUE AC Series" in April this year, and Asahi Koyo Corporation who updated their groupware "ArielAirOne" to the latest version.

WAP products are based on the concepts of "no customization," "free version upgrades," and "high business compatibility (comprehensiveness). Because all user companies use the same product with no customization, we believe that the exchange of users will provide know-how that can be effectively utilized in the operation of each company's system.

In addition to sharing know-how, UC also allows us to build relationships with a wide range of user companies in other industries that use the same products, leading to the creation of business opportunities such as collaboration and cooperation. Nankai System Solutions, Inc. said in their greeting at the regular meeting that "the connections among users we have made through our UC activities to date are an asset. Requests from user companies received through UC are also utilized in the development of WAP products, leading to improved business coverage and convenience through the addition of functions based on customer feedback.

Currently, the UC holds not only regular annual meetings, but also subcommittee meetings and study sessions by product, theme, and industry, as well as regular explanatory meetings on functions to promote the use of the products. In addition, regular meetings will be held twice a year, with the next meeting scheduled for next spring. WAP will continue to promote information exchange among user companies.

Corporation3. Development Policy of WAP Products Aimed at Promoting DX in JapanIn

addition to a greeting from the representative director from WAP, the executive officers in charge of "HUE" and "ArielAirOne" products made presentations on their future development policy.
◆The Future of ERP with an eye on
Digitalization
(Shogo Ishikawa, Executive Officer, ERP Development Division)

Recently, the means of information communication has been changing from paper to PDF and e-mail, and "digitalization" is progressing, but we believe these are in the process of DX. Our goal is to realize an "input-less world" where information is seamlessly connected via networks, eliminating the need for information input. Especially in transactions where information is often missing, we are aiming for a drastic improvement in which operations can be completed simply by processing information in-house based on information received from business partners. Ministries and agencies are also starting to build networks for DX, such as digital invoicing in the invoice area and new ZEDI measures in the settlement area. We will continue to promote true DX as an industry leader by participating in the Digital Invoice Promotion Council as an executive committee member, developing input-less products, and providing Datagate, which aggregates information from HUE and other accounting and non-accounting domains and utilizes the data.
