Koshidatec is a technology trading company founded in 1930 that is involved in a wide range of businesses including automotive sales support and after-sales service business, semiconductor and electronic device sales and technical support business, retail business for mobile, automotive accessories and motorcycle-related products, and security and IoT solutions business. The company has 15 domestic and 13 overseas group companies with global operations.

Koshidatec's challenge was that the accounting system was not standardized within the group, and the workflow differed from one company to another, making it a highly individualized process. Koshida Tec was considering the introduction of a group-wide system to standardize operations, but as a company that operates across multiple industries, a high hurdle in the selection process was the need for a system that could satisfy the business practices and accounting operations of multiple industries.

Koshida Tech decided to implement the "HUE AC Series" because of its high level of business coverage, which incorporates a wide variety of business requirements and business practices as standard functions, regardless of industry or business category. KOSHIDA TEC plans to begin implementation at the two main companies and then expand it to the entire group. In addition to improving operational efficiency and quality by standardizing accounting operations for the entire group, Kosida Tech also plans to revitalize the utilization and exchange of human resources in the future.

The following three points were particularly appreciated in the adoption of the system.

(1) High business coverage enables non-customized introduction
The "HUE AC Series" has achieved a high level of business coverage by expanding the standard functions of the package based on the needs of more than 2,200 customers in Japan. Although each group company was required to meet different business requirements for this implementation, the high level of business coverage made it possible to implement the system without customization, thereby reducing man-hours and costs for additional development.

(2) Covers unique business practices that vary by industry and business type
Koshidatech operates in a variety of industries, including trading, retail, and IT solutions, and the introduction of the system was required to satisfy all the different business practices and accounting operations of each industry. The HUE AC Series was highly evaluated for its ability to handle a variety of transaction types based on Japanese business customs, as well as for its detailed adjustment functions that enable operation in a wide range of industries and business categories.

(3) Strengthens governance of financial systems and accelerates account settlement
In the area of finance and cash management, the introduction of the system will strengthen governance and accelerate the settlement of accounts at the level required of major companies by automating the preparation of cash flow statements and cash plans, as well as the group-wide settlement of accounts for various financial transactions, such as borrowings and securities.
