Health management refers to a company's strategic practice of health management for its employees from a managerial perspective. The "Certification System for Excellent Corporations for Health Management" is an annual program implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Japan Health Council to recognize corporations that practice excellent health management and to promote health management.

By "visualizing" excellent corporations engaged in health management, the program aims to create an environment in which they can be socially recognized by employees, job applicants, related companies, and financial institutions as "corporations that consider employee health management from a managerial perspective and are strategically engaged in this area.

At Works Applications Group, we refer to human resources with strong problem-solving skills as critical workers, and one of our missions is to "provide opportunities for critical workers to play an active role. We believe that "health" is a basic element for critical workers to play an active role, and we provide not only physical examinations and checkups for lifestyle-related diseases, but also various medical examinations including breast cancer, cervical cancer, and H. pylori screening free of charge. In addition, we offer free influenza vaccinations, support for the purchase of smoking cessation aids, and health promotion cafeteria points to promote the maintenance of employee "health" in a wide range of areas, aiming to provide an environment where employees can maximize their abilities. In addition, in order to prevent new strains of coronas, we were among the first to thoroughly implement teleworking to minimize the risk of infection among employees, and we also conducted early vaccination of employees and their family members in the workplace.

In order to realize more diverse work styles, we introduced a teleworking system (with allowances) in addition to the previously implemented full-flex time system and flex leave system that allows employees to change specific leave days at their own discretion, and changed to a more flexible work system based on teleworking. On the other hand, to address the lack of communication that tends to occur under teleworking, we promote communication among employees through internal SNS and internal events, conduct regular 1-on-1 sessions to foster human resources and monitor work conditions, and conduct our own engagement surveys (held monthly) to understand the effects of these activities so that necessary actions can be taken in a timely manner.
