Daiwabo Information System and WAP sign distributor agreement

(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masahiko Miyahara), a group company of Works Applications, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masahiko Miyahara) has concluded a distributorship agreement with Daiwabo Information System Co.
Background of the Agreement
Since its establishment in 1996, Works Applications Group (hereinafter referred to as "Works") has been providing Products / Services mainly to major Japanese companies as a packaged software company of business applications originated in Japan. Currently, approximately 2,200 customers (320 corporate groups), mainly major corporations, are using Works products.
From 2021, under the new "WAP Ecosystem Strategy," the company will not only provide products/services to the large companies that have been its main customers to date, but also to small and midsize companies and startup companies, starting with the provision of a SaaS product (HUE Works Suite) for "DX that can be easily started onsite. Products / Services to small and medium-sized enterprises and start-up companies. In addition to the conventional maintenance and support of our own products through direct sales channels, we have started new initiatives such as providing third-party hardware and software through alliances with partner companies and indirect sales of Works products through sales agents, in order to meet a wider range of customer issues and play a role in promoting DX among Japanese companies. We aim to play a part in promoting DX among Japanese companies.
As part of such efforts, we have recently concluded a distributor agreement (sales agent agreement) with DIS, which has established a community-based service and support network with approximately 90 sales offices and 19,000 sales partners nationwide.
In the future, Works will accelerate its partner business in earnest. We are looking for a wide range of business partners to contribute to the DX of customers with whom we have not yet had contact and have not yet been able to provide solutions. By integrating the strengths of our business partners with those of our clients, we aim to build a relationship that will enable both parties to expand their business domains. We look forward to hearing from companies that are interested in becoming a Works business partner to help solve their customers' problems.
