HUE Works Suite" Adds New Lineup - Promoting "DX Easily Started from the Field

(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masahiko Miyahara; hereinafter "WAPE"), a subsidiary of Works Applications Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Naoki Inoue), has announced the addition of two new products to its SaaS-based systems, "HUE Works Suite HUE Works Suite" and "HUE Works Suite DX Solutions", two series of SaaS-based systems.
The "HUE Works Suite DX Solutions" is designed for companies promoting digitization, the first stage of DX, and supports "business process" and "communication" areas. HUE Work Suite, which supports "business process" and "communication" areas, has been expanded to include "Workflow," "Project Board," and "Project Room" for companies promoting digitization, the first stage of DX. AI OCR" was added to "HUE Works Suite DX Solutions" which supports "Knowledge" domain.
Background and History
DX promotion in companies is increasingly required to respond to new lifestyles in the with-coronation era and to achieve the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). On the other hand, about 90% of companies are still in the stage* where they have not reached the level where they can promote DX across departments based on company-wide strategies. According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "DX Report 2" published in 2020, three phases are recommended to enable companies to design specific actions for DX. Of these, (1) digitization (converting analog/physical data into digital data) is the first step from the phase that has not yet been initiated. In addition, the next phase, (2) digitization (creation of new business value and customer experience), is considered to be the phase of digitization of individual business and manufacturing processes.
Against this backdrop, WAPE has further expanded its lineup of SaaS-type business system "HUE Work Suite" and "HUE Works Suite DX Solutions" for more advanced DX promotion (digitalization) as "DX easily started from the field.
Overview
HUE Works Suite and HUE Works Suite DX Solutions are business web services that can be used by large companies as well as small and medium-sized companies. The SaaS products can be used as stand-alone SaaS products for customers who do not use ERP products from the Works Applications Group, and can be purchased based on the number of users, making them available on a project or team basis.
HUE Works Suite" offers three services related to process management, project management, and collaboration in projects, based on the themes of (1) starting with a small number of people or departmental units, (2) starting immediately (no technical skills or installation work required), and (3) integration with core systems. In particular, (3) can be flexibly integrated with ERP products, which are core systems, regardless of vendor.
In addition, HUE Works Suite DX Solutions, a series for more full-fledged DX, will add new tools for text reading and electronic text conversion using image processing and natural language processing.
The following four services will be expanded in this new lineup.

Project Board, a project progress management web service
This is an online shared project progress management service for corporations.
Equipped with Gantt chart and Kanban functions commonly used in project management, it supports collaboration with teams, organizations, and external users to improve work efficiency.
Project Room, a project communication and information asset management web service
An easy and secure communication tool for projects.
It activates communication among all project members, including external parties, and improves engagement. Files and schedules handled in a project can be shared in one place, supporting information sharing, know-how accumulation, and collaborative work.
Workflow, an online application and approval service
This workflow service can be easily used onsite.
Anyone can easily introduce and operate the service, as application forms can be created in spreadsheet format and workflows can be designed intuitively by drag-and-drop. The service supports the speedy realization of paperless applications and the digitization of business operations without changing the form of paper applications.

AI-OCR Engine, a text reading and electronic text conversion tool using image processing and natural language processing
High-performance processing engine with high reading accuracy utilizing AI technology of Tokushima NLP Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and improved accuracy by learning function.
It is possible to improve business efficiency and productivity by developing plug-ins optimized for the customer's business and by linking with BPO solutions.
