Sudachi Paid Support Service" is Launched

(HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Masahiko Miyahara; hereinafter "WAPE"), a subsidiary of Works Applications Corporation (HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Naoki Inoue; hereinafter "Works"), is pleased to announce the launch of the "Sudachi Paid Support Service", Sudachi is an open source software*1 morphological analyzer*2. This new service will enable businesses that utilize Japanese language analysis to achieve greater efficiency.
Expansion of the size of the linguistic analysis market
As the market for AI, including the application of natural language processing (hereafter, NLP), increases year by year, image recognition and language analysis are two areas that are expected to grow in particular. As for linguistic analysis, it is expected to expand to a wide range of fields in the future, as it is being applied in call centers and contracts.
Utilizing Sudachi, which is publicly available as open source software
Sudachi is developed by a company, and because it is feature-rich, contains a large vocabulary, and is updated regularly, it is currently the most popular open source software (hereinafter referred to as OSS ) morphological analysis engines. Therefore, while continuing to provide Sudachi OSS, we will develop maintenance services for Sudachi and consulting services for utilizing Sudachi as paid services.
Sudachi Morphological Analyzer 】
Sudachi, which is available as OSS, is a morphological analyzer that can withstand commercial use and has flexibility and accuracy that are lacking in existing morphological analyzers.
Sudachi" supports a wide variety of Japanese spelling errors and incorporates the latest words into its morphological analysis dictionary, which is regularly updated and maintained to ensure high quality analysis performance for commercial use. It is used for basic processing of various types of analysis, such as reading text strings in images and PDFs, and chatbots that use artificial intelligence to obtain necessary information in a conversational style through an automatic conversation program.
