(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Naoki Inoue; hereafter "Works") has won a runner-up award in the "Corporate" category at the "Third WOMAN's VALUE AWARD", an award in which female students vote for companies and individuals that promote the advancement of women. (hereinafter referred to as "Works") was awarded the "Runner-up Prize in the Company Category" at the 3rd WOMAN's VALUE AWARD, an award in which female students vote for companies and individuals that promote female advancement.

This is the second time Works has received this award, following the "Excellence Award" in the ICT category last year.

What is the WOMAN's VALUE AWARD?

Now in its third year, this award recognizes companies and individuals who aim to promote the advancement of women.

This year's award winners in each of the five categories, including the Grand Prize and Runner-up Prizes, were selected from among entries that far exceeded the total number of applications received up to the previous year. The award-winning companies were selected by a vote of female students, and the awards were presented to the companies that were chosen by the students for their ideas about how women should be active in the workplace.

Evaluation Points

Works received the award in recognition of its multiple female employee support systems. The main system, "Works Milk Club," was planned and institutionalized by a group of volunteer female employees with the aim of enabling working mothers to enjoy their work and symbolizes the corporate culture of Works. Not only the content of the system, but also its purpose and the reason for its institutionalization were highly evaluated, and were major factors in the award winning.

<Evaluation comments from the judges

I thought it was a wonderful initiative that was very close to the feelings of the employees.
The fact that the system is designed for mothers to "enjoy" working made me feel that it is a wonderful initiative that is close to the feelings of the employees.
I felt that the company has a corporate culture that allows employees to work independently regardless of gender, and I would like to work for a company like this.
