WAP and Kokubu Business Support begin collaboration
2021/03/23
(Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Naoki Inoue; hereafter "Works") announces that on March 23 it will begin collaboration with Kokubu Business Support K.K. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kohito Abe; hereafter "KBS").
By promoting enhanced collaboration between e-Buntakun, KBS's centralized consumables purchasing system for corporate clients, and HUE Purchase, Works's purchasing management system for major corporations, the two companies will strengthen support for creating an appropriate environment for indirect materials purchasing in corporations.
1. Background of collaboration
In purchasing management operations, there are various issues such as paperless operations, reduction of purchasing costs, and strengthening of controls. In addition, there is an increasing need for smooth access to necessary goods and services regardless of location, based on diverse work styles such as teleworking. At the same time, with the spread of cloud computing, an increasing number of major companies are flexibly collaborating with various suppliers to reduce inefficient operations and develop new, high-value-added operations.
The two companies, both of which have a large number of clients in indirect material purchasing and purchasing management systems, have decided to collaborate in order to meet the above needs and promote corporate purchasing support.
2. What will be realized through the collaboration
T he system will seamlessly integrate the consumables purchasing flow of product selection, purchase application, approval processing, supplier ordering, delivery, acceptance inspection, and payment on the catalog site through system linkage (punch-out linkage) with suppliers. This eliminates the need for applicants to search for products in accordance with internal purchasing rules and submit expense applications for replacement costs. The purchasing department can also control purchase amounts and suppliers, thereby strengthening internal controls.
Cost reduction based on accumulated purchasing data
Improving the cost of small consumables consumed daily has tended to be put on the back burner due to the high cost of understanding the status of purchases and negotiating with multiple suppliers. Purchasing analysis based on the accumulated purchasing database facilitates cost improvement by identifying indirect materials required for business operations, establishing corporate purchasing policies, and identifying indirect materials with high usage volume, after confirming purchasing trends over a period of 6 months to 1 year. KBS can also negotiate catalog prices with multiple suppliers on your behalf to ensure that purchasing costs are reduced.
e-Buntakun
KBS provides a centralized purchasing system to unify the workflow and centralize finance through supplier control, and also supports the creation of an optimal procurement environment that is consistent with the customer's procurement policy and free from waste and unreasonable costs. Specialized staff members understand the customer's purchasing policy and history, including analysis of the customer's purchasing information, data mining, and cost-cutting proposals. We support continuous analysis and cost control by utilizing our unique know-how.
HUE Purchase
This purchasing management system is equipped with advanced functions that provide both convenience and strengthened control, responding to the complex operations of major companies. It centralizes all purchasing of various indirect materials in major companies, improves the efficiency of purchasing operations, and supports strategic purchasing decision making through data accumulation.
