HUE Establishes BPO Services for Accounting and Information System Departments to Accelerate Business

(Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Naoki Inoue; hereafter "Works") announced on January 27 that it will launch a new BPO service, "Business Process Outsourcing", an outsourcing service to replace complicated routine tasks that exist in the back office operations of its clients. This service aims not only to create an environment in which customers can focus on the competitive areas in which they want to allocate resources (e.g., promoting DX, contributing to corporate value improvement, etc.), but also to reduce costs and improve the quality of operations by standardizing operations. This service can also be offered as a stand-alone service to companies that are not currently using Works products. The scope of this service includes back-office operations such as accounting/finance, procurement/purchasing, and system operations, as well as infrastructure management and monitoring (see Figure 1).

Background

Today's business environment is changing at a dizzying pace, with the diffusion and penetration of new technologies, and amendments to laws and regulations. We are also at a major turning point in the business environment, with the outbreak of the new coronavirus leading to calls for a reduction in the number of people coming to work and the promotion of telework. In companies, the importance of improving productivity and adding value is becoming increasingly important, not only for business divisions, but also for back-office divisions, in addition to turning around existing operations.

At the same time, however, companies are faced with increasing costs, human resource shortages, and new problems in existing operations, making it difficult to implement measures as expected.


In order for companies to focus on these highly important areas, it is necessary to create an environment in which they can fully consider their strategies by resolving resource shortages in the field departments and outsourcing non-essential tasks. To help solve this problem, WORKS has decided to accelerate its BPO service business by leveraging its accumulated knowledge and experience.

Scope of BPO Service Operations

We offer two types of BPO services: AMO services and IT Outsourcing services (ITO services). We support a series of operations up to the design, construction, and implementation of information systems.

Strengths and Features

We have earned a reputation not only for package license sales, but also for package (product) maintenance services and customer business consulting services.

Now, we are pleased to announce the release of a new BPO service that includes operation and maintenance services in the ITO area in our existing maintenance service menu.

Works has a large number of experienced technical staff, who are familiar not only with packages (products) but also with IT infrastructure, and can respond to customers regardless of whether they are located on-premise or in the cloud.

In addition, we have accumulated knowledge for various cases, enabling us to provide highly reliable, high-quality services. This enables us to maximize our services to our clients.
